NALC held it's one-day Larger Councils' Conference this year, with the aim of showing how local (parish and town) councils can use the implementation of the Localism Act 2011 to derive benefits for their communities. The keynote speaker this year was Eric Pickles MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.
