Every Young Voice

David Clark at the British Youth Council is currently undertaking a project aimed at identifying where local youth councils have been set up and where there is an absence of such support for young people. It is tied in with the BYC's Every Young Voice (EYV) programme. The project hopes to explore issues of diversity, areas of interest and identify how elected officials interact with youth councils.

From this information a report will be put together outlining the findings. This will lead to the development of a training programme which will be delivered to 50 local youth councils each year to support and develop the involvement of young people.

However the British Youth Council have incomplete information many youth councils across the country and would appreciate your help in order to build as broad a picture of the country's youth councils as possible and in order to build a directory of youth councils. Therefore if your local area has a youth council the BYC would be grateful for any information you can provide.
