NALC currently produce three flagship publications for the local government sector.

LCR

LCR is the official publication of the National Association of Local Councils. It is an essential bi-monthly guide for all clerks and councillors and all those involved in the first tier. With town and parish councils now at the fore of government thinking on neighbourhood governance, LCR continues to provide an important and valuable insight into this expanding sector.

DIS

DIS is a fortnightly news service which can provide you with a one stop shop for all the latest information which is relevant to the first tier.

With a round-up of government statements and publications, up to date legal information, ministerial statements, press releases and consultations from across the sector, along with regular events and vacancy listings DIS is a great source of information.

First Tier

First Tier is produced as a quarterly insert in the MJ. This publication engages directly with principal authorities to highlight joint working which is taking place between the tiers, and also to increase awareness of the importance of town and parish councils in local government as a whole.
