NALC Annual Conference and Exhibition 2017
NALC’s Annual Conference and Exhibition 2017 is an essential event for councillors, council officers, county association members and officers as local councils join with other parts of the public sector (including the government and principal authorities), private sector and voluntary sector to discuss the key policy issues of the moment. The important themes will centre on partnership working, local economic development, sustainability, health and well being, housing and planning, openness and transparency. This brilliant two-day event will celebrate NALC being 70 years old and our wonderful Star Council 2017 award winners. Further, by holding it in Milton Keynes, we can make it a double birthday party with the city being 50 years old this year too. Simply put, this conference is too important to miss out on if you want to keep up-to-date, informed and influence all that is happening in our sector. Last year we had 250 delegates, making it the largest in the local council sector.
