Achieving any award level is great, and your accreditation will last four years. But you may wish to move up an award level faster than that! You can register for a higher award level after the same process you just completed.
The Local Council Award Scheme aims to support councils' ambitions for improvement and to make moving up the award levels as simple as possible.
So, apply for a higher award level within 12 months of your previously successful accreditation. You will receive a 20% discount on the fees, and the panel will not need to revisit previously approved evidence.
