NALC is a democratic, councillor-led organisation and encourages all of England’s 100,000 councillors to get involved in the work of NALC and their county associations.

NALC’s biennial elections to its governing committees will take place this year on 11 December and National Assembly members are invited to consider standing for one the following: chairman, vice-chairmen’s, Management Board, Policy Committee, Finance and Scrutiny Committee, Larger Councils Committees and Smaller Councils Committees.’

Candidates should complete the nomination form by 15 November 2019. The nomination form and the skills audit form must be downloaded and completed electronically. Completed forms should be sent to NALC at .
