NALC sends an open letter to its 100,000 councillors


Today, the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) chairman, Cllr Sue Baxter sent an open letter to its 100,000 local (parish and town) councillors.

The letter sets out the challenges and opportunities ahead and showcases a number of key achievements over the last year.

Cllr Sue Baxter, chairman of NALC, says: "The next twelve months will be interesting with Brexit imminent and with our sector already demonstrating both locally and nationally that we have a key role to play in helping our residents and communities negotiate the upcoming challenges".
