NALC event to discuss future health challenges post COVID-19

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) is to hold an online event, Leaders talk: The future of health challenges post COVID-19 on 28 October 2020. It will take a strategic look at how local (parish and town) councils can help their communities overcome local health challenges when the current pandemic eases.

The expert panel features:

  • Olivia Butterworth, head of public participation at NHS England, she will talk about the development of Primary Care Networks, the role of local councils in reaching and connecting with residents, developing shared priorities, and the need to work together to address health inequalities and increase access to care.
