The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) online event, Leaders talk: Supporting mental health in your community, on 30 October 2020 will focus on the challenge of mental health. You will learn about how to support mental health in your communities and will be able to share your own experiences and ideas on how your council is finding solutions for residents.

The expert panel features:

  • Amy Browne, stewardship lead at CCLA, she will talk about CCLA’s mental health programme and their ambition to unite companies and investors to help drive systemic change, and measuring companies’ approach to employee mental wellbeing.
  • Paul Farmer, chief executive at Mind, will talk about mental health awareness and tackling stigma, how local councils can be part of the mental health support system and the role of councils as employers.

Prices for this event start from £30. This event is sponsored by BHIB Councils Insurance, Blachere Illumination, CCLA, Parish Online and the Epilepsy Society.
