New NALC online event focusses on giving young people a voice

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) is hosting a new online event, In conversation: Frome — youth first, on 17 November 2020 as part of its Rebuilding Communities series.

The event will focus on how local (parish and town) councils can engage with young people in their communities. You will learn more about how Frome Town Council give young people a voice through a range of services, such as funding, dedicated projects, training opportunities and partnership working.

The expert panel features:

  • Rachel Griffin, marketing and communications manager, she will talk about Frome Town Council's online training for young people and the council's highly respected Youth Conference.
  • Kate Hellard, community development manager, will talk about Frome Town Council's People's Budget funding of youth projects and partnership working with local stakeholders.
