NALC launches new webpage on national networks
The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) has launched a new webpage dedicated to its national networks.
The national networks aim to use the growing use of digital communications by local (parish and town) councils and the more recent shift to remote meetings and events to:
- Connect local councils and councillors from across the country around shared interests and groups
- Engage groups around NALC’s work and campaigns
- Provide mutual support to each other
- Share learning and good practice
The webpage will include information on each network, joining instructions, and scheduled meeting dates. Meetings in the first quarter of 2022 include:
- LGBT+ councillors — 18 January 2022
- Women councillors — 1 February 2022
- Climate emergency — 15 February 2022
- Super councils — 24 February 2022
- Young councillors — 8 March 2022
- Coastal communities — 21 March 2022
