NALC creates new national network on the climate emergency

climate

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) has created a new network on climate emergencies.

This climate emergency network is for local (parish and town) councils already or considering taking action locally to help tackle the climate and ecological emergency.

The network will build on the vital work previously carried out by NALC's Climate Task and Finish Group, which concluded last year.

The network's first meeting takes place on 15 February 2022 at noon.

The new network is part of NALC's series on networks, which already include coastal communities, LGBT+ councillors, super councils, women councillors and young councillors.
