Mr Walker joins Ailbhe McNabola, director of policy & communications at Power to Change and Will Tanner, director at Onward, on the expert panel.

Mr Walker has been a civil servant for over 20 years, working on economic growth, regeneration, housing, planning and environment policy. He was previously director of the Environment Strategy Unit at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, acting director of the General Decentralisation and Growth Unit at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, and director of the Cities and Local Growth Unit at the Department for Communities and Local Government.
