NALC issues survey on 2022 local elections

SURVEY

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) has issued a survey to local (parish and town) councils, councillors and county associations on the local elections this year.

The survey will collect data on promotion, planning and resourcing that go into holding local elections. NALC will use this data to highlight ways to support the local council sector and improve the election process through training, resources, and lobbying the government and stakeholders.

In 2021, NALC launched its Make A Change campaign to promote local elections and encourage people from all backgrounds and experiences to run for election. The survey will also look at the campaign's resources to determine usage, usefulness and improvements.

The survey closes on 24 June 2022.
