The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) met with Mumsnet last week to discuss how they could help raise awareness of the Make A Change campaign.

Mumsnet agreed to promote the campaign and share information on their website to highlight some of the inspiring work women and mothers do for their communities as councillors. NALC and Mumsnet are also working on writing a blog and a live web chat.

Mumsnet is now the UK’s biggest network for parents, with around seven million unique visitors per month, clocking up about 100 million page views.

Over 6,000 local (parish and town) council elections in 34 county association areas will occur this year. With 4 May 2022 fast approaching, NALC is working with many organisations to support the Make A Change campaign and encourage more people to stand as local councillors.
