The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) is a public body accountable directly to Parliament.

Its purpose is to provide fair boundary arrangements for English local authorities and keep the map of English local government in good repair. 

It does this primarily by undertaking electoral reviews of local authorities, determining how many councillors an authority should have and where the ward and division boundaries should be for council elections.

The purpose of the role is to conduct electoral reviews of local authorities.

You will be responsible for writing recommendation reports, creating mapping, and preparing consultation documents to ensure fair voting arrangements for the electorate.

You will work as part of a team and with the authority under review before making recommendations to the Commission.

Hybrid working arrangement of remote working and some days based in the Commission office in London.
