NALC briefing on the 2024 general election manifestos

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) has published its briefing on the main political parties' manifestos for the 2024 general election.

The briefing sets out key commitments in the Conservative, Green, Labour, and Liberal Democrat party manifestos that are relevant to and of interest to local government, including local (parish and town) councils.

Each manifesto offers a more detailed picture of the party's plans if elected into government on 4 July 2024. This includes outlining specific policies that could impact local government and communities.
