Session
When standards fall short, the impact can be felt across the whole council and community. With growing calls for a stronger standards regime for parish and town councils, what needs to change and what can councils do in the meantime?
Get the latest on our campaign for a standards regime with real teeth and hear from experts on the case for reform, the barriers to change and what a stronger system could mean for parish and town councils and councillors.
The session will also explore the practical steps parish and town councils can take now to uphold high standards, address poor behaviour and build a positive culture, while keeping the pressure on the government to deliver meaningful reform.
