CILCA qualified administration officer and clerk, Radcliffe on Trent 
Parish Council 
Fixed Term: 6 months. Hours-per-week and pay rate to be confirmed.

Key Duties: 

  • Advising the parish council in terms of proposed activities, roles and responsibilities, and engagement with the local community. 
  • Ensuring the parish council complies with proper financial practices and meets legal and financial standards. 
  • Attending and supporting full council meetings 
    • Every fortnight 
    • Tuesday evening, 7.00pm to 9.00pm or as required 
  • Preparing meeting agendas in conjunction with the chair of the council. 
  • Drafting formal minutes, for circulation and approval by full council. 
  • General administrative duties, providing support to the Office Team as required 
  • Supporting ad hoc project working group meetings
    • Where appropriate, by mutual agreement. 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be CILCA qualified. 
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Experience with budgeting processes and financial analysis. 
  • A proactive approach with strong organisational skills. 

Job Type: Part-time with a requirement for flexibility
