Consultations
Consultations are processes by which the government seeks input and feedback on proposed policies, legislation, or other significant decisions.
We are a powerful national advocate for parish and town councils. We achieve this primarily through our policy, political, and parliamentary initiatives. These efforts establish a framework for policy determination, gather information and evidence on parish issues, and work to influence government and other key decision-makers. These efforts include responding to government consultations, engaging in parliamentary debates, meetings with MPs, Peers, ministers and shadow ministers, contributing to Select Committees, and submitting written and oral questions.
