Local councils receive government and National Lottery funding

The Million Hours Fund helps young people aged 11 to 18 (and up to 25 for those with special educational needs and disabilities). This funding will support a range of youth services offering a variety of positive activities for young people in eligible wards with the highest reported numbers of antisocial behaviour incidents.

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) highlighted in their recent press release the work of Central Swindon North Parish Council, which used £6,500 to deliver sport, dance and forestry sessions. Stroud Town Council also received £3,600 for helping young people create vibrant street art.
