NALC makes the move from print to pixel
This decision, unanimously supported by county associations across England, is a significant step in NALC's broader commitment to a digital-first strategy, which includes moving office space, transforming digital operations and developing a new website and CRM systems.
The move further certifies NALC's commitment to tackling climate change and follows its declaration of a climate emergency at its Annual Conference in 2019. It offers significant climate benefits by reducing paper consumption, energy usage, waste generation, and carbon emissions, paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future.
Existing NALC digital publications, including its suite of The Good Councillor's guide, will remain freely available to members.
While transitioning to a digital-first organisation presents challenges, NALC views these changes as opportunities for growth and innovation. The organisation is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning, embracing new technologies, and adapting to emerging trends in the digital landscape.
