NALC updates the National Assembly on workstreams
The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) provided workstream updates to its National Assembly on 4 April 2023.
The assembly welcomed the special meeting held earlier this year, convened to discuss the King's Coronation. Since then, NALC had secured clarification on various issues shared through its dedicated Coronation webpage.
At the meeting, members discussed how to get more people involved with NALC and the work of county associations. NALC’s committee chairs provided updates on their work over the last quarter. It was confirmed the July 2023 meeting would be in-person, and the previously organised December 2023 meeting date would now move to 29 November 2023.
National Assembly comprises councillor representatives from each of the 43 county associations, and their objective is to oversee the delivery of NALC’s objectives.
