Disability Pride Month, celebrated each July, recognises the history, achievements, and contributions of disabled people, while challenging stigma and promoting inclusion. As the most local level of government, parish and town councils can use this month to advocate for their residents with disabilities and ensure an inclusive environment in their towns and parishes.
