NALC Annual Conference sells out as parish and town councils look to shape the future of local government
We are thrilled to announce that our upcoming Annual Conference is officially sold out. The conference, taking place on 24 June 2026 in London, is a one-day event to explore reform, influence policy, and shape grassroots local government.
The overwhelming response to our conference highlights the growing enthusiasm among parish and town councils to actively engage in understanding the future of grassroots local government.
We have now opened a waiting list with limited availability. If places become available, they will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis to those on the waiting list.
Through expert speakers, panel discussions and practical insights from across the sector, the conference will examine whether government commitments are delivering real benefits at the community level, where councils may be losing ground, and how the sector can confidently assert its role. It provides an opportunity to reflect honestly on what has worked, what has not, and how parish and town councils can shape the next phase of reform rather than react to it. Speakers include Baroness Taylor of Stevenage, CPRE, the Royal Town Planning Institute, and many more.
Alongside the conference session, the exhibition offers opportunities to discover new ideas, services and solutions to support your council's work, while networking with other councils facing similar challenges and opportunities.
