Project Keystone survey is now live — help shape the future of the sector
Our Project Keystone survey is now open, and we are calling on everyone who works in and with parish and town councils to take part and have their say. It is an important opportunity for the sector to come together and influence what happens next.
Project Keystone is a strategic review of the National Association of Local Councils and our relationship with county associations, designed to inform the future direction, role and strategic priorities of sector support for parish and town councils.
We want to hear from councillors, clerks, council staff, county associations, councillor representatives, and wider stakeholders about what is working well, where improvements are needed, and what support the sector needs for the future.
Your feedback will play a vital role in informing the review and shaping future Project Keystone engagement and outcomes. The more voices we hear, the stronger and more representative the future direction of the sector will be.
The survey takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and will close on 5 June 2026.
If you work in or alongside parish and town councils, we strongly encourage you to take part and ensure your views are reflected in this important piece of work.
