The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) recently opened the nomination process for elections to leadership roles and committees.
The deadline for nominations was 25 October 2021 and full information on all nominations can be found on the NALC committee elections webpage.
An election is required for the role of NALC chair and for the Smaller Councils Committee.
Voting for the role of NALC chair will be by representatives of county associations on NALC’s National Assembly and nd voting for the Smaller Councils Committee is by smaller councils only.
Final results will be announced on 8 December 2021.
Terms of office are from January 2022 to December 2023.
