Tell NALC your council's finance issues - fill in the sector survey!

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) and its sector colleagues have recently issued a snapshot finance survey to gather lobbying evidence on the main financial issues for local (parish and town) councils and on direct funding.

Working with representatives from the Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC), a NALC super council, a county association and a member of the NALC Policy Committee, NALC developed and issued this short snapshot survey (hopefully to become an annual exercise) in mid-April. The survey will close on 17 May 2022.

All local councils of any size are strongly encouraged to complete the snapshot survey ahead of the deadline. Evidence gathered will give NALC and sector stakeholders much-needed evidence to lobby the government on urgently needed financial changes in the sector (including direct funding from the central government).
