The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) Make A Change champion Cllr Anita Collier has been featured on Mumsnet.
Cllr Collier, leader of Frome Town Council, has written a guest post for Mumsnet, the UK’s most popular website for parents, about how her passion for her town inspired her to represent her community as a councillor.
The post highlights the value of becoming a local councillor to Mumsnet members and encourages them to stand for election this May. She speaks about the reasons behind her decision to run for office and her varied roles whilst on the council and provides advice for anyone hesitant to put themselves forward.
