Pucklechurch Parish Council is surveying councillors with non-visible disabilities as part of a dissertation for the De Montfort University Community Engagement and Governance course.
The dissertation is titled Diverse Voices? Are local councils in England and Wales attracting councillors with non-visible disabilities? The research links to NALC’s Make A Change campaign, which encourages people from all backgrounds and experiences to become councillors.
The survey takes no more than 10 minutes to complete and is anonymous. The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) encourages local (parish and town) councils to complete the survey.
