The housing and planning minister Gavin Barwell MP has written an open to letter to all local councils about the Neighbourhood Planning Bill which was introduced in Houses of Parliament this week and was welcomed by NALC.
The letter follows a meeting between Cllr Ken Browse, chairman of NALC and the new minister on 6 September 2016 and outlines the important role local councils play in communities as well as praising their work on neighbourhood planning.
