Don't be told 'no' on election day – make sure you're registered!

The General Election is now just over seven weeks away, but many people will be unable to have their say unless they take action now.

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) is supporting the campaign – launched by the Electoral Commission today – to make sure everyone who wants to vote is registered.

It's simple: if you are not on the electoral register, you won't be able to vote. If that's you, why not take five minutes to register online. It's really important to do this by the deadline of 20 April 2015.
