Stronger local democracy: Referendum 'yes' for new Kidderminster town council

Kidderminster residents voted 80% in favour of the creation of a new town council on 7 May 2015 in a referendum held at the same time as national and local elections.

This is a welcome boost to our campaign to see the whole country parished. The final decision will be taken by Wyre Forest District Council on 29 July 2015.
