JPAG writes a letter to clarify queries on the Practitioners' Guide

jpag-2

The Joint Panel on Accountability and Governance (JPAG) has written a letter to practitioners' clarifying a range of queries since the publication of the Practitioners' Guide early this year.

The letter addresses queries on communications, virtual meetings, the financial year to which the Practitioners' Guide relates, signing the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR), publication of the AGAR on websites, and rights to inspect the accounts.

The letter has various suggestions such as local (parish and town) councils should have a .gov domain for their website and email addresses and a timetable for submitting AGARS, to name a few.
