NALC announces Star Council Awards 2022 sponsors
The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) has confirmed its headline and category sponsors for this year's Star Council Awards.
The award headline sponsor is BHIB Council Insurance, one of the leading independent commercial insurance brokers, providing specialist insurance and risk management services to local (parish and town) councils.
This year's category sponsors are:
- Council of the Year — Blachere Illumination. Blachere Illumination has been creating festive lighting for over 45 years. Blachere is the global leader in producing eco-responsible lighting and has also recently developed a new summer range.
- Councillor of the Year — Breakthrough Communications. Breakthrough Communications are a specialist communications company that helps local councils connect with their communities.
- Young Councillor of the Year — DCK Accounting Solutions. DCK Accounting Solutions provide accounting services, annual accounts, budgeting assistance, specialist advice on VAT and payroll, and feasibility work relating to capital projects to local councils in England and Wales.
- County Association Project of the Year — CCLA. CCLA helps investors maximise their impact on society by harnessing the power of investment markets. They have specific skills and an interest in social and economic justice.
- Clerk of the Year — Aubergine. Aubergine is one of the UK's leading experts in providing WCAG2.1AA compliant accessible websites and apps for local councils. They are JISC authorised to work with gov.uk domains, Crown Commercial Service and are Cyber Essentials accredited.
