Levelling up minister to speak at NALC event
Paul Scully MP will speak in person at the National Association of Local Councils' first-ever one-day hybrid event, Empowering Communities, in London on 7 November 2022.
Mr Scully was appointed Minister of State at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities on 7 July 2022 and Minister for London on 13 February 2020. He was previously Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from 13 February 2020 to July 2022. He was elected the Conservative MP for Sutton and Cheam on 7 May 2015.
Mr Scully will join the event to discuss the government's mission to level up the United Kingdom, including its proposals in the white paper and its legislative programme.
