Morecambe Town Council to participate in NALC and LGA led peer review

planning

Morecambe Town Council is the latest council to participate in the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) peer review in partnership with the Local Government Association (LGA).

The peer challenge approach involves a team of experienced local government officers and councillors spending time with another council as peers to provide challenges and share learning.

Morecambe Town Council is England’s fourth local (parish and town) council to participate in the NALC and LGA peer review programme, and they will be hosting a panel of peers for two days.

The last local council to host a peer challenge was Cirencester Town Council. They hosted the peer review in November 2022, and their report has been published.
