NALC attends The Big Help Out launch

news-story

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) attended The Big Help Out launch on 20 March 2023.

Cllr Keith Stevens, NALC chair, attended the launch as the local government plays a significant part in engaging with voluntary and community organisations and opening voluntary opportunities in and with local (parish and town) councils.

The Big Help Out starts on 8 May 2023, an initiative to celebrate and promote volunteering around the Coronation.

NALC is working closely with Neighbourly Lab, a non-profit organisation partnering with The Big Help Out to support local councils preparing for the local government launch on 24 April 2023. Neighbourly Lab will be providing support, such as ideas for how you can get involved and providing communication materials to be shared locally with local councils.
