NALC is working with Cloudy Foundation to produce a new app
The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) is working with Cloudy Foundation Enterprise Academy to produce a new app to help NALC manage the Local Council Award Scheme (LCAS) administration.
The Cloudy Foundation Enterprise Academy is an online community hub for young people between 14 and 24. This hub allows students to work on digital projects that serve the needs of businesses and councils and allows young people to create and develop new technical and personal skills and open employment opportunities.
The new app was created collaboratively by the students using tools from Microsoft Office 365. They have worked on the project twice a week since 21 February 2023. The new application will replace several of NALC’s different forms and spreadsheets and automate parts of the LCAS’s administration.
Our partners, Cloudy IT, are now finalising the app to ensure it is ready for use.
