NALC attends The Rural Coalition meeting
The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) attended The Rural Coalition meeting on 26 April 2023.
The Rural Coalition brings together 13 national organisations. The coalition works collaboratively to ensure that the interests of 10 million people in rural areas (many parish areas) are not overlooked.
This meeting focused on developing a submission to national political parties to influence their thinking about the needs of rural areas as they prepare their manifestos for the general election. Once completed, the submission will be shared.
