NALC and SLCC issue rapid response survey on Martyn’s Law

SURVE_20240213-140400_1

Following the publication of the long-awaited Martyn’s Law standard tier consultation last week, the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) and the Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC) have issued a joint sector survey to inform their responses.

NALC and SLCC want to know how ready local (town, parish, and community) councils and their clerks feel about the revised standard tier premises requirements proposed in the Home Office consultation. They also want to know levels of awareness of these requirements across the sector, the support and guidance needed, how the sector wants to receive such support, and any training and information needs if the Draft Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill becomes law.

The survey will take less than five minutes to complete and closes on 18 February 2024.
