The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) attended an event about levelling up in South and East Lincolnshire at the House of Lords on 21 February 2023.

The event celebrated the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership — a ground-breaking partnership between Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council. The partnership was created to deliver through genuine collaboration, unlock the area's ambitions and deliver for residents and communities.

The speakers emphasised the importance of place and partnership. They stressed the role partners at all levels, including local (parish and town), had in working together to improve regional prosperity.

The event was hosted by Lord Porter of Spalding and attended by parliamentarians, stakeholders and the Lincolnshire Association of Local Councils.
