NALC creates a new cost-of-living support webpage

cost of living

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) has created a new section on its website to help local (parish and town) councils support their community through the cost-of-living crisis.

The cost-of-living webpage provides useful resources, practical advice, and examples of local councils demonstrating good practices to support their community.

NALC highlight the importance of community-led actions like warm hubs and food banks to support those most in need and to address issues associated with high energy and food costs.

Likewise, the significance of the successful partnership between all local government levels must not be overlooked when assessing the best approaches to address the cost of living in local communities. Partnership and collaboration between all local government levels are essential.
