Update on the neighbourhood right of appeal

Two weeks ago the Lords voted in favour of an amendment to the Housing and Planning Bill to introduce a neighbourhood right of appeal.

On Tuesday the House of Commons deleted this clause, replacing it with a requirement for planning officers to report on planning applications that conflict with a neighbourhood plan.

On the 4th May, the House of Lords again voted in  of the neighbourhood right of appeal, so it is back in the Bill.
